After updating the firmware of my Minnowboard Max it would no longer boot the Debian from the MicroSD card. I had to manually add the correct path of the GRUB image to the EFI and make it the standard boot option.

I assume that during installation on the SDCard the installer tells the EFI (writes into it) where to look for the boot image.

Betreff: [MinnowBoard] How do I boot from an SD card using the EFI shell?

In order to not use my precious data (I have a satellite internet
connection), I cloned an SD card from a working Minnowboard Max and put
the SD card in a new minnowboard max. Now I am stuck trying to figure
out how to boot the nrew minnowboard max from the sd card.
