Several things to check, beyond what Bill is suggesting on the firmware<br>
(and making the assumption that you are attempting to install via serial<br>
and text mode, as you had suggested).<br>
<br>
- Make sure that the kernel boot args includes `console=ttyS0,115200n8`<br>
(though the n8 is optional, it's still useful to double check).<br>
<br>
- Double check and see if there's something like `quiet` on the kernel<br>
boot args line, if it's there I would suggest removing it as that should<br>
get you a lot more useful information.  (on Fedora there's also<br>
something called `rhgb`, it's possible there's something similar.  If<br>
you see something about `plymouth` I'd recommend deleting that too.)<br>
<br>
If you haven't tried those, that's a good place to start, if you have -<br>
is there any way you can copy/paste the serial console output, that<br>
might be helpful, as well as the kernel boot line.<br>
