This really gets into the question of how much Minnowboard
will become a production use-case. If people are going to
create data centers out of Minnowboards stock - sure, it makes
sense.<br>
<br>
I?d rather see makers take Minnowboard and create
datacenter-friendly versions that can be sold at a profit for
the maker, still be a big win for the user, and let
Minnowboard lures focus on sparking that innovation.<br>
<br>
You could probably juice more than two NIC ports using USB and
other I/O than just PCIe. Also I?m not sure what the true
bandwidth rating of the PCIe port is on the Minnowboard, if it
exceeds 1x or delivers 2x. Bay Trail as a SoC supports up to
PCIe 2.0 4x.<br>
