They need LVDS because those Pi-targeting displays are not ideal when going into mass production.<div><br></div><div>It’s a last-mile challenge, granted, but mini-HDMI alone isn’t enough to port MAX board designs to manufacturing.</div><div><br></div><div>On the flip side, Intel has much more off-the-shelf Atom solutions that you can move over to… but not with ownership of the board design.<br><div><br><div apple-content-edited="true">

My vote is for the MiniDisplay lure… preferably with the ability
to swap out the display and add on your own LVDS touch interface
