Ok that looks like it's the E3825, so that looks like it should
alleviate that as an issue (wanted to make sure that it was a compatible
part, just on the off chance it wasn't)
Memory part, at first glance anyway, looks right. I'd have to go do a
lot more digging to be 100% sure there.
Storage processor vs. mobile processor is a little odd, I'd need some
more context on what you are referring to. The chips are are using are
based on the Baytrail-I skus, or the industrial version of the skus.
There are some other Baytrail skus, but most of them are not footprint
compatible with the Baytrail-I (can't remember which one off hand).
Pretty sure, given the part number you last gave, you've got the right SoC.
Have you tried flashing the debug firmware in and seeing if anything
comes out of the serial port?
Unless something is horribly shorted, you are getting both LEDs so the
SoC should be online, but you are clearly just not getting past
something in the early start-up, and it's hard to tell, or even guess,
without something further.
So here's my suggested next steps:
- If you can flash the debug firmware on the board, and see if you get
anything out of the serial port (J4)
- If you don't get anything out of the serial port with the debug
firmware the only other step I can reasonably think of is to go and snag
a full IDP/XDP (plus the debug lure) and start debugging it that way,
but this is not an inexpensive way to go, so I would start with trying
the debug firmware, and let me see what else I can find in the mean time.
