[MinnowBoard] Grub shell when trying to install Debian 8.4

If you end up at the grub shell that may be a problem with how the USB key was created (grub can't find a config file & fails to shell). What method did you use to create the USB stick from the Debian ISO?

Also, have you tried the standard ISO image (instead of netinstall)?

Thanks ... br

Subject: [MinnowBoard] Grub shell when trying to install Debian 8.4

Hi,

I have a MinnowBoard Turbot and tried to install Debian 8.4 from a USB key.
I used the netinstall amd64 ISO and created a bootable USB-stick.
Beforehand I upgraded the MinnowBoard firmware to 0.92 64bit.
Now when I select boot from USB in the firmware I end up in some kind of Grub shell (just seeing grub>) instead of the installer I would expect.
Did anybody else had this issue and could point me to how to resolve it?
Cheers
Kossa
