Brian,

thanks for the information. this minnowboard came with .90. in reading the release notes it seemed they were fairly similar. the capsule method being the biggest difference as it was added in .91 so i don't think it is a choice for me. Are you saying that using the flash method to go from .90 to .91 will bork the win10 installation?

not really a problem at this point as i haven't done anything but update to the insider preview 14295.

Glad you got that working. I’ve done a similar install with my Lure for Ubuntu on mSATA SSD.

Please make sure you’re using the latest firmware (0.91). I think there were some boot order issues in earlier releases that were fixed.

Some of the Max/Turbot boards ship with older firmware, so it’s a good idea to update when you first receive a new board. If you already have an OS installed, please use the capsule update method instead of re-flashing via SPI so you don’t lose the UEFI boot variable for Win10.

Thanks ... br

hello,

i was able to install windows 10 on a minnowboard turbot with a mSata SSD on silverjaw

lure today without too many issues. there was one reboot during the process when it failed to boot to the board instead of the CD but i have had that with other hardware. I hope to get intel realsense R200 camera working and hopefully have a very small hardware package in order to make it mobile. anyway, first post to the list, i have been reading for the last week.
