[MinnowBoard] Outreachy application (Low Speed Lure Development project)

Hello,

I just found out that MinnowBoard is joining Outreachy and I'm so excited!
I want to apply for the Low Speed Lure Development project because I
have a background in embedded systems and electronics.

I read that small contributions are required for the application. What
kind of contributions can be done for this project?
