[MinnowBoard] Outreachy contribution for MinnowBoard

Hello!

I'm interested in applying to Outreachy Round 12 with a contribution for
MinnowBoard.  I'm thinking the ipython project since I'm familiar with
python and ipython.

What is the best way to make a contribution?
