[MinnowBoard] MinnowBoard Max - no Input signal on screen

I only pressed the power switch after I tried different monitors and power
supplies (I misstated the rated amperage of the power supply I am currently
using - it is 3A instead of 2.5A).

I just turned it on - left it on for a minute then pressed the power switch
- nothing appeared to happen the one LED that was on (D1 - next to the
button) did not flicker - I have never seen D2 go on.
