[MinnowBoard] Flashing MBM w/ SPI Hook

The first MBM I bought died a while back. When I say 'died', I mean the
board stopped functioning. I plug it in and only one blue light comes on,
that's it, nothing else happens. It arrived this way when I bought it and I
sent it back to CircuitCo, they reflashed it and sent it back. It worked
for a while, then went dead again. I didn't want to spring for a DediProg,
so when I heard about the SPI Hook, I bought one.

I've tried this with both the 32 and 64 bit version 0.83 firmware but no
luck. Here is the complete output from Flashrom w/SPI Hook

===================Flashrom output====================
sudo flashrom -p ft2232_spi:type=2232h,port=A,divisor=4 -w
MinnowBoard.MAX.I32.083.R01.bin

flashrom v0.9.6.1-r1563 on Linux 3.19.0-30-generic (x86_64)
flashrom is free software, get the source code at http://www.flashrom.org

Calibrating delay loop... OK.
===
SFDP has autodetected a flash chip which is not natively supported by
flashrom yet.
All standard operations (read, verify, erase and write) should work, but to
support all possible features we need to add them manually.
You can help us by mailing us the output of the following command to
flashrom at flashrom.org:
'flashrom -VV [plus the -p/--programmer parameter (if needed)]'
Thanks for your help!
===
Found Unknown flash chip "SFDP-capable chip" (8192 kB, SPI) on ft2232_spi.
Reading old flash chip contents... done.
Erasing and writing flash chip... Erase/write done.
Verifying flash... VERIFIED.

===================End Flashrom output====================

Error messages notwithstanding, it appears to have successfully flashed the
board but when I plug it it, same thing, one blue light and nothing else.

Anybody have input on what I might try or what I might be missing?

Thanks
