[MinnowBoard] How do I know if there is power going to my Silverjaw lure?

Hi,

I think you will not be able to get it working due to the PWROK signal is used for PCI slot reset. As the PWROK is generated by main board the power are not stable enough to go properly out of reset, so the device will not present. The PCI slot reset should be based on the platform reset signal that goes active much later than the PWROK.

A minimum reset of 100 milliseconds are required for PCI bus from the moment that power is stable. The silver jaw lure violates these rule. That’s why PCI devices connected to the lure does not show up on reset, i.e. PCI bus is reset, but PWROK is active and no reset is generated to the PCI device.

Perhaps the Silverjaw lure has been updated as I reported this bug long time ago or you may modify the lure by cutting the PWROK signal from the slot and attach the PLTRST# signal with a wire.

Best regards,

Running a 3 Amp power supply with help, also, on the board you should be able to check for power at a few test points (they where labeled I thought). Also, I needed a firmware update to help it work too.
