[MinnowBoard] How to get HDMI audio to work on MinnowBoard MAX (under Linux)?

Hi,

The audio has to be enabled for HDMI by the firmware. There may be reasons why it isn’t enabled. You have 3 possible audio connections, LP audio, HD audio and HDMI audio. Regarding LP and HD audio, they share some logic and can thus not be used simultaneously. You have to choose. There could be some constraint for HDMI audio as well. You need to check with documentation. Also check the schematics and see if audio is routed to HDMI. If it is, you probably can do some settings in the firmware that makes it work.
