[MinnowBoard] no suitable video mode found booting in blind mode

I think this is typically caused when the system can't find settings
on the boot device. It could be a power issue. Make sure you are
using a minimum 5V, 2.5A power supply or that your external usb cdrom
uses it's own power supply. Or, it could be that the USB cable
connecting the external drive to the Max is faulty.
Do you have a small USB thumb drive you can use to install using the
Debian netinst image? This method always works for me.
