[MinnowBoard] Regarding GSoC Project

Hi,

For the past days I was consulting Make Documentation to get the deeper
knowledge in that area  and I thought that this would be better for
resolving the issues of current build system because it would  be the least
tedious path.

As I was working on GSoc application and wants to add this function  as a
primary  solution for cleaning up the build system .Which do you think
would be more efficient and beneficial for the build system, either
re-working the shell or converting it to the Makefiles ?
