[MinnowBoard] minnow max infinite rebooting

I'm having a weird issue with the new minnow max which I just got.

If it's been off for a while, it will properly boot to the UEFI shell
(I've put .76 release build on it). If I leave it running for a while,
and then do a "reset" from the shell, it seems to enter an infinite
reboot loop (with the screen trying to turn on, but then not) and will
never go to the shell again. If I then turn it off for a minute or so,
it can boot to the shell again.

Do you think this is a thermal issue? I disabled all the thermal trips
in the BIOS settings. I also tried blowing a fan on the board while
it's in the infinite loop to get the temp down, but that didn't seem
to help it ever get out of the loop.

I don't have the serial cable yet so unfortunately I can't share
whether there's any interesting serial output that would shine a light
on the situation.
