Yes I'm using a monitor that has worked before with a minnowboard MAX. It just says 'no signal'. I believe i have the firmware bug described on the minnowboard max wiki page. Seen here:

There are some reports of corruption of the UEFI firmware

Symptoms are no display, 2 leds on, and this serial<http://www.elinux.org/index.php?title=Serial&action=edit&redlink=1> output trace :

>>>>SecStartup
>>>>MemoryInit Done
>>>>BdsEntry

This should be resolved in firmware's after 8/13/2014

I my board has all of these symptoms, but even after updating the firmware via SPI there is still no change.

The monitor worked before with the Minnowboard Max?

For example, I have here a monitor from my old Notebook using a board with HDMI. It just work if I turn the monitor ON and for a short time before it realizes that there is nothing connected, I turn the minnowboard ON.

Try on a TV after you select the HDMI port.

Atenciosamente,

Hello,

I am directly connected through HDMI, and I'm using a monitor that has worked before. Even when the HDMI cable is not connected and I try accessing it via serial connection the board still doesn't attempt to boot.

Are you connecting direct through HDMI or using some sort of adapter?

Hello,

My name is Steven and I recently purchased a MinnowBoard MAX. After receiving my minnow board MAX I discovered that it has an issue booting up. There is no video output, both LEDs are lit up, and the only serial output is:

At first I thought it was a problem with the firmware so I purchased the DediProg SF100, but even after flashing it with the latest firmware there was no change. Now I am out of ideas on how to fix it. I believe that I have received a defective board. Is there any way I can send it my minnowboard MAX for a replacement? I'm also willing to try any ideas anyone may have on how to fix it. I am currently a college student and I have invested a lot of money into this so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Steven
