[MinnowBoard] problem getting Minnowboard Max to start

Hi,

Just received a Minnowboard Max last week. Trying to boot it up- the power
LED lights up, but the display doesn't see a signal. The other LED flashes
for a few moments and then goes out. Tried 2 displays. Any hints? I just
received the board a week ago, so I'm assuming I'm not hitting the bug
fixed by the 8/13 firmware?
