Hi,
Microsoft has a comprehensive installation guide for installing Win8.1
embedded on Minnowboard online at
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/windows/hardware/dn781278%28v=vs.85%29.aspx
It seems that you need a .wim installation image, a whole lot of software
(debuggers, powershell, visual studio, driver kits etc..) to create an EFI
bootable USB installation stick. I tried to do an installation with these
installations but it fails at the end when I try to run the
Create-DevboardKey.ps1 powershell script (which is supposed to write data to
the USB stick). It seems that Powershell in Windows 7 doesn't come with the
required disk tools module :-( I've notified the author of this, hopefully a
correction or workaround can be found soon.
