Which version of Angstrom are you using? Which version of the UEFI code?

Subject: [MinnowBoard] MinnowBoard heatsink to hot to touch
I recently began to work with the original Minnowboard and updated the onboard UEFI code and the Angstrom SD code. I can boot into the Angstrom desktop but very shortly after that the screen goes blank. If I use the USB serial port, I can log in and look at the directory structure and after a short while the serial port stops responding but the LED's continue to blink. I must wait several minutes before retrying either approach.
Is there something else I should try or is it time for electronic recycling?
