Are you able to get to the bios setup by typing 'exit' in the EFI shell? Thats how I usually setup to boot from SD.

In order to not use my precious data (I have a satellite internet

the SD card in a new minnowboard max. Now I am stuck trying to figure
out how to boot the nrew minnowboard max from the sd card.
