Android Auto has not yet been open sourced. Generally Google has contributed platform pushes of Android Wear and Android TV after the first major release that is after the platform ships in-market.

So, for example, Android Wear 4.4W shipped after KitKat 4.4.4. Android TV shipped simultaneously with Android 5.0 thanks to Nexus Player.

Translation: Lollipop will be inbound to 01.org <http://01.org/> in the near future. But Android Auto is not yet open sourced, and Google has not finished development on it.

It takes non-trivial amounts of time to adapt Android for UEFI and for 01.org <http://01.org/> <http://01.org/ <http://01.org/>> - though that timeframe has gotten progressively shorter as AOSP incorporates more IA code.
