[MinnowBoard] Quad Core MinnowBoard Max

Hello All,
It is my understanding that the Intel E38XX SoCs are pin compatible, to that effect would it be possible to use an E3845 Quad core version if one were to build a PCB from scratch, any changes I assume might be required in the firmware? and the PSU section to support the added current load?
